Frequently Asked Questions

1. I have little kids, they don't sit still & smiles for photos, what can i do?

You can leave that stress to me! Because, it is no stress for me at all. I am a lifestyle photographer. Instead of poses, I use prompts & silly tasks during my sessions. I will have your kiddos pretend to scare you & chase you & have tickle fights. What's their favorite song? I'll have that on repeat. They need a snack break? I got lots with me! I work as a paraprofessional, so I am very patient with children of all walks of life. Also a mother of 4 children who are little, I get it. I get you. & most importantly, I got you :)

3. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Yes! I will do everything I can to get images you will adore. Send me your inspiration. This is very helpful! I can get to know your style & your wants. I prioritize poses that you want. I am a documentary style wedding photographer, so a lot of prompts are natural & not posed.

2. who do you use as a second shooter? & do i really need one?

I have a team of trusted second shooters. They all match my personality, work ethic & professionalism. If you have selected a package with a second shooter, they will be in charge of capturing the groom getting ready & able to provide some artistic touches to images! I highly recommend adding or choosing a package with a second shooter. They are able to create a more relaxed timeline & provide the day go with ease!

4. why should i choose you to be my photographer?

I love that I get asked this! & really, the simple answer is I listen & I care. I listen to all of your ideas, stories, concerns & worries. In result, I come up with ideas/solutions that will specifically cater to you. Most importantly, I care. I care about how you & your partner met, I care about how you are feeling, I care that you want something incorporated because it's sentimental to you. It's not about the huge things, it's about the small. I give my all to my clients & I believe this provides them with a memorable experience with me <3

5. What is the turn around time for the album?

I edit every image individually, taking time to not overlook any small detail. I prioritize the quality of every portrait I deliver. Wedding galleries are thoughtfully crafted and delivered within the time frame of 7-10 weeks. Portrait sessions are 30-45 days. However, please note that these estimates may vary. Should there be any unforeseen circumstances that may happen, additional time may be needed. I stay in constant communication with my clients & will ensure your expectations are met and exceeded!

7. Do you help with planning our  session?

100%! I want your photos to look stunning just like you do! I offer all my clients a creative collaboration. This is us, on the phone or in person brainstorming locations, outfits, storylines, timing & everything in between. I want to see your inspo pictures, I want you to send me 12 outfits that you can't choose from so that I can help. I am here for you!

6. Do you provide raw images?

No, I do not provide any raw images. With my expertise, I edit every image individually within my editing style.

8. Do you travel outside of Pittsburgh?

You bet ya! I love to travel. I do have four little kids at home, so I am limited in the number of weddings I travel to.
